Questar Pipeline Company seeks review of a decision of the Utah State Tax Commission assessing the fair market value of Questar’s operating property for 1988 at $296 million.

Questar Pipeline is a Utah corporation engaged in the interstate transportation, sale, and storage of natural gas in Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. When the 1988 assessment was made, it was a wholly owned subsidiary of Entrada Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Questar Corporation whose common stock was publicly traded.
