Esteve, was charged by bill of information with one count of creation or operation of a clandestine laboratory for the unlawful manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine), a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:983 (Count 1); one count of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine), a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(0 (Count 2); and two *1060counts of cruelty to a juvenile, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:93 (Counts 3 and 4).
