¶ 1. Robert Garel appeals from an order of the circuit court dismissing his amended petition for writ of habeas corpus and ordering the Department of Corrections to extend his mandatory release date by 180 days as a sanction for providing false information to the court pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 807.15(2)(c) (1997-98). We conclude that §807.15 does not apply to Garel, and we therefore reverse the order of the circuit court.
