This is an appeal on questions of law by the defendant from a judgment of conviction and sentence pursuant to a verdict of guilty rendered by a three-judge court. The defendant, though not formally married to the decedent, had been living with him as his wife, and his death occurred as the result of the passage through his body from back to front of a single 22 caliber bullet fired from a sawed-off rifle in the control of the defendant and furnished by decedent to defendant for her protection.
