¶ 1. This case is before the court on certification by the court of *630appeals, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 809.61 (2007-08).1 The certified question is whether a stipulation and order establishing a 33-month unmodifiable floor for child support payments is enforceable.
¶ 2. The circuit court for Dane County concluded that the order was enforceable when Michael May (Michael), the payor spouse, sought to reduce his child support payments to his former wife, Suzanne May (Suzanne), a little more than one year after entry of the order.
