This was an action for possession and rent brought by Nicholas and Evelyn Aiello, the contract sellers of a residence in Chicago, against Casimir and Jean Grace, the contract purchasers. The Graces filed a counterclaim against the Aiellos, also sought damages against Edwin Doody, the real estate broker who negotiated the transaction and who drew the contract in question, and against Thomas Kilroy, a licensed attorney and the escrowee nominated in the contract.
