— By an information filed in the Circuit Court of Randolph County, at Huntsville, it is charged that, on or about June 21, 1929, the defendant did unlawfully and feloniously manufacture “hootch, moonshine, corn whiskey.” The case was transferred to the Circuit Court of Randolph County, at Moberly, where the defendant was tried, found guilty “as charged,” and his punishment assessed, by the jury, at imprisonment in the peni tentiary for two years. He was sentenced accordingly, and appealed.
