Odes Dupree was convicted of malice murder and other crimes arising out of the asphyxiation death of 75-year-old Florene Duke.1 The trial court denied Dupree’s motion for new trial, and he appeals. As set forth below, we affirm. 1. Raising the sufficiency of the evidence to convict him, Dupree asserts the trial court erred in denying his motion for directed verdict.
