We granted certiorari in this case to consider the reach of the Law Enforcement Officers’ Bill of Rights, Maryland Code (1957, 1976 Repl. Vol., 1978 Cum. Supp.), Art. 27, §§ 727-734D and, more specifically, whether summary judgment was properly entered, concluding as a matter of law, that the Director of Police of Montgomery County had not been removed from his office in violation of the Act’s provisions.(1)
