OPINION

WECHSLER, Judge.

{1} This case presents issues of first impression concerning the rights and responsibilities of general and limited partners in a limited partnership. Petitioners, Donald R. Fate, Margaret Fate, a/k/a Marjorie Fate, and Celia B. Milavec, who are limited partners, appeal from the trial court’s order dismissing their claims against Patricia Owens a/k/a Sichler (Owens), the general partner, and other entities related to Owens (collectively Respondents).
