This case involves the validity of the will of the late Alexander .D. Eraser, of Detroit, one of the oldest and best known members of the Michigan bar. The will bears date May 17, 1877. It was proved and allowed in the probate court for the county of Wayne, and an appeal was taken from that allowance to the circuit court. A copy of the will is given in the margin.* *211The decedent was upwards of eighty-three years of age at the time the will was made.
