Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Felice Shea, J.), rendered October 22, 1993, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of attempted robbery in the first and second degrees and attempted burglary *134in the second degree, and sentencing him to concurrent terms of l1/2 to 41/2 years, 1 to 3 years and 1 to 3 years, respectively, unanimously affirmed.

Defendant’s suppression motion was properly denied. The police had reasonable suspicion to forcibly detain defendant and his three companions for investigatory purposes where, responding to an early morning radio report of a robbery in progress…
