ROGERS, Justice.

In a bill of information containing two counts, John Vaccaro was charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana in violation of the Uniform Narcotic Drug Act, Act No. 14 of the Second Extra Session of 1934. He was tried and found guilty as charged. Thereafter the State filed a bill of information against' Vaccaro based on Act No. 15 of 1928, charging that he was a triple offender in that he had been twice previously convicted in the United States District Court at New Orleans for violating Federal laws covering narcotic drugs.
