OPINION
Opinion by Justice CARTER.
A jury convicted Melvin Goodspeed for aggravated sexual assault and sentenced him to ninety-nine years’ imprisonment. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. § 22.021(a)(l)(B)(i) (Vernon Supp.2004-2005) (child victim). On appeal to this Court, we originally sustained Goodspeed’s sole point of error, held he received ineffective assistance of counsel during voir dire, and concluded counsel’s deficient performance during this critical phase of the trial sufficiently undermined confidence in the trial court’s judgment.
