Defendant appeals from conviction and sentence under RCW 9.54.020 for the unlawful taking of an automobile without the owner’s permission.

The events leading up to the charge under which the defendant was convicted started at a somewhat belated bachelor party for him in mid-day of his wedding day, at. which he freely imbibed alcoholic beverages. He continued this alcoholic intake right up to the door of the church and the late afternoon wedding.
