Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Sheridan, J.), entered April 4, 2001 in Albany County, which dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78, to review a determination of the Board of Parole revoking petitioner’s parole.

While on parole, petitioner was arrested and charged with various crimes. After preliminary and final parole revocation hearings, his parole was revoked in July 1999 based upon charges that he violated the conditions of his parole by possessing crack cocaine, a handgun and ammunition.
