OPINION

DITTER, District Judge.

This petition for a writ of habeas corpus presents a question involving the construe tion of the Federal Extradition Act 1 and the Interstate Agreement on Detainers Act. 2 For the reasons which follow, I conclude that the relief petitioner seeks must be denied.

William Louise Thomas is a federal prisoner whose temporary custody for the purpose of disposing of outstanding criminal charges is sought by the State of New Jersey.
