In an action brought by Richard Merywethers in the city court of Wichita against J. F. Youmans he alleged that he had been employed by You-*310mans to cate for and train horses at the specified wages of $40 per month and board; that he began work under the contract on May 30, 1905, and continued in the service until about May 25, 1907; and that the work done by him was reasonably worth $40 per month and board.
