Daisy Cheney, plaintiff herein, was employed by defendants as a domestic in their household. On or about June 6, 1939, while undertaking to do some ironing,, which service was within the scope of her duties, she received an electric shock in consequence of which she was thrown to the floor and injured. She brought this suit and upon trial by jury obtained a verdict fixing her damages at $664.50. At the conclusion of plaintiff’s proofs and again at the close of all the proofs defendants moved for a directed verdict.
