In this matter, the petitioner, Jeanette Packard, seeks a writ of prohibition to prevent the enforcement of two rulings of respondent, the Circuit Court of Logan County [hereinafter, “circuit court”], in actions arising from the medical care provided to her son, Robert Whitt [hereinafter, “Robert”], by respondent, Dr. Ramanathan Padmanaban [hereinafter, “Dr. Padmanaban”].
