Plaintiff alleges that, at a meeting of the Republican State Central Committee, held on January 31, 1928, he was elected a member of that committee, from the parish of East Baton Rouge, for a term of four years; that he has duly qualified as a member of the committee, 'and is in the actual possession of the office to which he was elected. He also alleges that, notwithstanding his incumbency of the eommitteemanship from the parish of East Baton Rouge, defendant is illegally claiming to be entitled to said office, and is attempting to qxercise the duties thereof, and will continue to do so,…
