The parties stipulated the following facts: that plaintiff was born in October, 1920, the legitimate son of A. C. Crane and Nellie Crane; the father and mother of plain tiff were divorced in July, 1927; the divorce decree made no reference to the support or custody of Roy C. Crane, who was then six years of age; plaintiff always stayed with his mother, except during the time when he was married, when he was in the army and when he was in hospitals as hereinafter stipulated; that plaintiff was inducted into the Army of the United States on September 22, 1942, at Fort McPherson,…
