This matter is before the court on motion by plaintiff Esso Standard Oil Company (“Esso”) for an award of reasonable attorney’s fees in the amount of $1,594,696.55 and expenses in the amount of $107,782.61 pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1988(b). (Docket Nos. 242 & 243.)
