In No. 19733 Mary Sue Hoppe (plaintiff) appeals the amount of damages she was awarded in an action for conversion of funds based on negotiation of a check with a forged endorsement. She contends the trial court erred by not assessing sufficient damages against First Midwest Bank of Poplar Bank (First Midwest) and First Missouri State Bank (First Missouri) and by not allowing prejudgment interest and attorney fees.
