OPINION

The defendant, Jimmie Williams, Jr., was convicted by a Shelby County jury of murder in the first degree and sentenced to thirty years imprisonment.

On appeal the defendant raises multiple assignments of error, which present six issues for our determination: (1) the sufficiency of the evidence to support a verdict of first degree murder; (2) the deliberate spoliation by the State of an exhibit to the record; (3) the alleged prejudicial effect of an improper question asked by the prosecution of the defendant on cross-examination; (4) the court’s alleged error in…
