This is a proceeding by the widow of John R. Henderson, who died testate on November 9, 1957, to recover the proceeds of three policies of insurance on his life, in none of which was she the named beneficiary.

A policy for $10,000 in The Prudential Insurance Company of America, hereinafter called Prudential, and one for $25,000 in The Equitable Life Insurance Company of Iowa, hereinafter called Equitable Life, were held by the insured with the proceeds payable directly to named beneficiaries.
