Plaintiffs, Nicholas Szluha, a veterinarian and his wife, Diana, appeal as of right from an order entered in the Oakland County Circuit Court which affirmed the decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals of defendant Charter Township of Avon, interpreting the township’s zoning ordinance as permitting defendant Michigan Humane Society to construct an animal welfare complex in an area zoned 1-1, light industrial.
