SYLLABUS BY THE COURT A conviction from another state for driving under the influence may be used to enhance a DUI charge under K.S.A. 2019 Supp. 8-1567 from a misdemeanor to a felony or to increase the punishment of a recidivist, even though the other state's statute proscribes a broader range of conduct.
