McGILL, Justice.

This is an appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Ward County,. rendered in an election contest filed in that Court. The contest was- of an election held on January 8, 1952, for the office of Tax Assessor and Collector of Ward County Water Improvement District No. 2, and of one Director of the District. Upon a canvass of the election returns appellant Snelson was declared elected as Tax Assessor an4 collector and appellant White as a Director of the District.
