John Henry Horton appeals his 2004 conviction for first-degree felony murder. Horton’s conviction stems from the 1974 disappearance and death of 13-year-old Liz Wilson.

FACTS

On Sunday, July 7,1974,13-year-old Liz Wilson went swimming with her 11-year-old brother John at the public swimming pool in Prairie Village, Kansas. Liz and John lived about 3 or 4 blocks north of the swimming pool, and they often walked to the pool together.
