On July 8, 1932, Charles F. Brady, who for many years had operated a drug store under the trade-name of Brady Drug Company in the city of Mason City, and was the owner of some real and personal properly, executed an assignment for the benefit of his creditors to one W. J. Murphy as assignee. The assignment was duly recorded in the recorder’s office and filed in the office of the clerk of the district court as required by law.
