—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Broomer, J.), rendered July 29, 1991, convicting him of robbery in the first degree and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentencing.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s assertion, the trial court properly denied the defendant’s motion to disqualify a juror disturbed by the presence of hypodermic needles at trial in view of the fact that the juror’s son had died from a drug overdose two months earlier.
