This matter comes before the court on relator’s petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Relator is now being held at the Montgomery County Prison at Norristown, on a detainer lodged by the Sheriff of Kershaw County, South Carolina, charging relator with having escaped from the Kershaw County chain gang and alleging that he is now a fugitive from justice of that State.
