PRITCHARD, Presiding Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction and a six month sentence for escape from a county jail after conviction. § 557.380, RSMo 1969, V.A.M.S.

On December 11, 1973, appellant, upon his plea of guilty to “forgery — using and uttering”, was convicted and sentenced to six months confinement in the Jackson County Jail, Division of Health and Welfare. On the same day the court ordered that appellant be granted a stay of execution until January 11, 1974.
