MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
RUBEN CASTILLO, District Judge.
Defendant Verdell Simmons (“Simmons”) is charged with possessing a firearm as a felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). (R. 1, Indictment.) Presently before the Court is Simmons’ motion to suppress all evidence seized as a result of a search of 604 North Trumbull, Chicago (the “Trumbull residence”), and Simmons on January 13, 2000, and any fruits of that search.
