This is a negligence case brought to recover for personal injuries to plaintiff and damages to his automobile, which was run into by a street car of defendant on Michigan avenue in the city of Jackson. Automobiles were thickly parked all along Michigan avenue at the curb at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. Between the rear of the parked autos on the south side and the south rail of the south car track there was ample room for one automobile to drive and clear street cars; if two automobiles were abreast the left wheels of the auto farthest north would be just inside of the south rail of…
