1. Elaboration of the ruling announced in the first headnote is unnecessary.

2. This was an action against an insurance company for loss covered by a fire-insurance policy. By way of defense the company urged that the policy was void, because the person who signed it as agent for the insurance company was not an agent of the company and the policy was not binding as a contract. The policy purported to be signed by the company’s agent who was authorized to sign it. Evidence was offered to show that in fact the insurance was procured and the policy written and the agent’s name signed thereto by…
