SHEPARD, Chief Justice.

Appellant Charles Lee Warner was convicted of two counts of theft, two counts of criminal confinement, one count of robbery, and one count of burglary. He was also found to be an habitual offender.

Warner claims in this direct appeal that the trial court erred in denying a motion to suppress his confession and admitting certain portions of it as substantive evidence at trial.
