Fred Noah was married four times. By his first wife he had a son named Othmar. His first wife died when this boy was three weeks old, and he was brought up in the home of his grandparents. He became blind, and died when a little over 23 years old. His care largely fell upon defendant Clara Noah Ryan, sister of Fred, who was then at home. After he became blind, defendant Edward P. Noah, brother of Fred, gave him much attention. Defendant Charles W. Noah was also a brother of Fred.
