This is an action brought by the executors of and trustees under the last will and testament of John B. Pierce, deceased, for the construction of this will. The testator died on the 23d day of June, 1917, a resident of the state of Massachusetts, leaving a last will and testament duly executed on the 15th day of December, 1913, and a codicil thereto duly executed on the 19th day of May, 1916. The will was duly admitted to probate in Massachusetts, and it is conceded that all of its provisions are valid under the laws of that state.
