LAVINE, J.

The defendant, William Head, appeals from the judgment rendered by the trial court in favor of the plaintiff, American Express Centurion Bank, following the granting of the plaintiffs summary judgment motion. The defendant argues that the plaintiff failed to prove the absence of a genuine issue of material fact as to the amount the defendant allegedly owed to the plaintiff. We agree with the defendant and consequently reverse the judgment of the trial court.
