STUART, District Judge.

Jesse Collins and Leon Hammonds appeal from judgments of conviction, entered following a jury trial, of conspiracy to distribute and distribution of heroin in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 846. Collins and Hammonds were charged in a four-count indictment. Count I charged both with conspiracy to distribute heroin from prior to October 15, 1975, until March 18, 1976, and Count II charged both with distribution of approximately 14.937 grams of heroin on October 15, 1975.
