This case is here on appeal and cross-appeal from a decree of the chancery court of Grenada county. The facts are as follows:
The American Cotton Company is a foreign corporation, and *700the owner and. patentee of a device whereby cotton is put up into what is known as the “round lap bales.” On the 23d day of May, 1900, a contract was entered into between the American Cotton Company and L.
