This appeal involves the scope of inquiry on habeas corpus from an extradition warrant.

On September 22, 1967, the State of Georgia requested the Governor of the State of Michigan to extradite one Jasper Luke Rayborn for the offense of “larceny of an automobile,” This request was accompanied by an indictment against Jasper Luke Eayborn for the same offense, the indictment having been handed down by a grand jury at the May, 1967, term of the Superior Court for Clayton County, Georgia.
