Petitioner David L. Peters appeals the child support provisions of a decree of dissolution.

David and Evelyn Peters were married in 1971. David was a doctor of osteopathy in private practice. At the time of dissolution, Evelyn was not employed. She had a master's degree in education and 10 years of teaching experience.

Evelyn was awarded custody of the couple's two children, aged 9 and 11. David was ordered to pay child support in the amount of $600 per month per child. The court ordered the amount of child support to be adjusted annually, using 1980 as a base year, by the lesser…
