A short distance west of the mouth of the P'ascagoula river in Jackson county is situated what has- been known for nearly one hundred years as the McRae place. The property has been in the ownership and possession of the family and their descendants for all those years, but apparently they have left the matter of assessments and tax payments larg'ely to agents.
