Atlantic Boulevard is a strip of property in the City of Virginia Beach bordering the Atlantic Ocean and lying between the ocean and lots on which numerous cottages, homes and business establishments have been constructed. We are concerned here with that portion of Atlantic Boulevard, 125 feet x 52 feet, which adjoins the eastern boundary of Lots 1, 2 and the southern one-half of Lot 3 in Block 74 on a certain subdivision plat entitled “Property of Virginia Beach Development Company” recorded in the clerk’s office of the court below on March 16, 1908 in Map Book 3 at page 177.
