Plaintiff (appellee) sued defendant (appellant) in a tort action for damages resulting from an error due to defendant’s negligent transmittal of a telegram sent by plaintiff to twenty-two contractors. The jury returned a verdict in favor of plaintiff for $10,000 and the trial court entered judgment for that amount. De fendant appeals from the judgment and an order overruling a motion for new trial, as well as from orders and rulings on other motions.
