Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Meyerson, J.), rendered August 12, 1992, convicting him of attempted murder in the second degree and robbery in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant contends that reversible error took place when the trial court failed to redact a portion of his videotaped statement in which he stated that he had possessed an illegal firearm on a prior occasion, thereby making a reference *641to an uncharged crime.
