Plaintiff appeals from a judgment of nonsuit. The single question raised is whether the pleaded cause of action is barred by the statute of limitations.

The action was instituted on February 10th, 1932. The gravamen of the complaint is negligence in the maintenance of a stairway leading to a building erected on lands in the city of Newark, owned and possessed by defendants, as a result of which plaintiff suffered injuries on May 20th, 1931.
